SOME IMPORTANT DETAILS ABOUT HOW NWS SERVICE WORKS

*** The Reseller always gets warranty work for their own systems - for which they are paid for - if the systems are local to Reseller and if the Reseller does on-site service and if the Reseller wants to do that particular job.

*** All NWS warranties (except 'pick-up & return' warranties) have instant 'forward shipment' or supply of replacement parts for fast repair. No waiting for RAs.

*** NWS assume a minimum manu parts warranty of 12 months for all parts costing more than $50.

*** If the Reseller is also doing the paid NWS warranty service work, for the first 12 months (for the first 12 months, they supply replacement parts (prior to any subsequent RA).

*** If the Reseller is not doing service work, NWS pays for, or supplies, replacement parts, and ships faulty parts back to the Reseller for RA to distributor (and subsequent return to NWS).

*** After 12 months, NWS pays for, or supplies, all replacement parts (even when they are still under manu parts warranty).

*** Absolutely NO 'use by' dates on NWS warranties!

All NWS warranties start at date of retail sale regardless of when that is, whereas some warranty companies void or 'run down' unused (but paid for) warranties after a few months, which we regard as unethical, probably illegal, and in any case very poor business practice.

So you can sell/use NWS warranties two years after your purchase, and the warranty still starts at the date of retail sale.

*** Unlike other warranty companies, NWS Service Agents get paid within 7 days of returning Job Sheet, faulty parts (if applicable), and Invoice. (And NWS does not constantly 'lose' paperwork and parts.)

*** NWS 'sticker' warranty orders are shipped same day by overnight ExpressPost or courier.

*** If you are a wholesaler, our patented IDS Instant Delivery System enables you to include a basic NWS 'sticker' warranty as standard, and for your Resellers to be able instantly add a warranty upgrade on-line at retail point of sale ... with no delays and no stock needed!

*** Similarly, you can get instant delivery of any type of NWS warranty you haven't got in stock. So no running out of stock, and no need to carry stock of lots of different warranties.

*** And no cheap & nasty free 'surge protector' (cost less than $5). We encourage our Resellers to sell their customers a QUALITY surge protector or UPS that actually does the job . By giving away a cheap one, one, is very inadequate power protection, two, but gives the customer a false sense of protection, and, three, makes it harder for you, the Reseller, to sell your customer a decent surge protector or UPS - and make a margin at the same time. :-)

*** NWS warranty conditions now state that each system under warranty must have a quality functioning Surge Protector or UPS. This condition has been added for the customers' protection - from costs, loss of data, and downtime. So obviously this gives you a chance to sell them one.

NWS WARRANTY PRICING

NWS offer all Resellers wholesale volume prices; prices that only big wholesalers and reseller used to get.

Our costs - and therefore our prices - are based on failure rates, parts costs, service costs (and parts freight costs). Volume is not really a factor.

An order for 200 warranties for systems built with cheap parts and/or poorly assembled and/or poorly QA'd, just means a lot of extra service costs! and we just lose lots of money.

But check with us regarding any tenders you do as we have ways of helping you compete against Dell ;& Acer.

And for Wholesalers or Resellers who put a NWS warranty on all their systems as standard, we have a reward/loyalty program, Platinum Partner, that effectively means quite a reasonable rebate off the standard wholesale volume price

And we do significantly reduce prices if all major components have three years parts warranty (because, theoretically anyway, our parts costs should be reduced).

Flexible. Rules and conditions can't cover every situation, so we respond to situations or problems that aren't all that clear cut flexibly and try to work out a solution that generally keeps people happy. Instead of being hard-nosed and as difficult as possible.

Efficient. We always 'forward ship' parts, or, more usually, pay the Service Agent for the part if they have it. We don't quibble if the Service Agents' parts cost a bit more. We pay the SA for parts even when we have the part in stock so that the problem is fixed faster for user, and to save our SA two trips. We pay our SAs within 7 days of getting back paper work & parts . We (usually) give instant phone approval while on-site for parts replacements and parts cost . This way, we close 79% of jobs within 24 hours.
