We try hard, but we don't think that we can't be better, or that there mightn't be better or efficient ways to do things we haven't considered.
You know those people who have a problem, but they never tell you at the time, and later you say to them "How can we fix your problem, if we don't know about it?" So, it is the same here: "How can we make National better, or fix your problem, if you don't tell us?"
